Does Taking Hormone Treatments At Certain Times Of Day Make Any Difference?

Recommended Posts

Since hormones tend to be more elevated in the morning and go down by nighttime, i was wondering if you could benefit from taking hormonal treatments in the morning. Or would it all be the same?

I have heard the same thing... more specifically that androgens are elevated in the morning.

From my experience, however, it doesn't make any significant difference either way. The important thing is consistency — remember to take whatever on a consistent basis or hormones take much longer to adjust or don't do so correctly.

Also, consistent levels are sometimes important, for example when using progesterone cream the levels can diminish in approximately 12 hours so some women benefit from using it both in the morning and evening.
