I always pop the pimples that have puss. I feel that if not release the puss it will go back and eventually return. Be carefull not to push with persistance. If it is ready to pop it will with limit effort. Then it is easier to heal. Try to put on payot's pate grise. It is making the blemish come to pop very quickly. Vaseline is doing the same thing, but its a bit greasy.
You might not want to squeeze your blemishes, since bacteria, especially if your pimples have puss, might spread and without realising you could infect other areas of your face/body. If you really feel the need to do it, take a cotton pad, dap it into sanitary alcohol and squeeze your pimple with it. In this way, the puss will stay on the cotton pad and your fingers won't be touching it.
