Laurapalmer 1 Share Posted March 1, 2014 As of late, my skin has really cleared up (knock on wood) so I thought I would share the products that have helped me achieve clear skin/hide my blemishes. If you have any products that I didn't mention, add them! Cleansers: Neutrogina oil free acne stress control power clear scrub (Better for oily skin, can be drying) Neutrogina grapefruit acne scrub (Better for oily skin, can be drying) Clean & Clear deep action cream cleanser (Better for oily and combo skin) Biore warming scrub St. Ives Apricot scrub (Better for oily and combo skin) St. Ives blackhead clearing green tea gel cleanser (Great for all skin types) Cetaphil gentle cleanser(Sensitive skin/dry skin) Shiseido the skincare gentle cleanser (Sensitive skin/ dry skin) Shiseido Ibku gentle cleanser (All skin types) Personally, I find that cleansers that foam break me out, so most of these are cream cleansers. Toners: Witch hazel+tea tree oil (combo skin) Shiseido pureness oil control toner ( oily skin) Alba Hibiscus toner (All skin types) Simple soothing toner (All skin types) The witch hazel and tea tree oil works the best for me. I just fill up a bottle with witch hazel and put some tea tree oil in it and shake before each use. Moisturizers: Clean & Clear dual action moisturizer (oily skin) Kiss My Face Chinese botanical moisturizer (Combo skin) The Body shop tea tree oil moisturizer (oily skin) The body shop vitamin C moisturizer (all skin types) Cetaphil cream (Dry skin) Vanacream or vanalotion (Sensitive skin) Shiseido The skincare night moisture recharge (All skin types) Neutrogena oil free moisture- sensitive skin (All skin types) Spot treatments: Tea tree oil Clearasil vanishing cream Mario Badescu’s drying lotionBlack drawing salve (This is especially good for cysts) Clean & Clear Advantage acne spot treatment Calamine lotion Face masks/ other treatments: The body shop tea tree oil face maskQueen Helene mint julep face mask Queen Helene mud pack mask Freeman oatmeal and avocado face mask Dermalogica refining masque Clearasil Acne Fighting Wipes Stri-Dex Power Pads Makeup removers: Ponds cold cream Simple makeup removing wipes I've been using ponds cold cream mostly, because my skin has been super dry! Makeup: Dermablend cover cream L'Oreal lumi foundation (not for oily skin) L'Oreal true match powder Hopefully this helps! Let me know of any other products you like to use Be patient with your skin! The only skincare i use is cerave foaming cleanser and thats itttt. i wash my face for like 5 seconds to decrease the irritation and thats it. I dont even wear moisturizer because i cant.... i know odd. My whole family is the same way... so i guess i just inherited it. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
