Hi Guys and Girls,

Was just wondering if anybody had any suggestions for treating these scars/texture?

I've read into a couple of things and am weighing my options, but am still open:

- Subcision + Juvederm or Fat Transfer

- 1.5mm ownDoc DermaStamp + Copper Peptides, etc.

- Fraxel re:pair

Thanks for any suggestions! smile.png

Hi There,

Looks like you have similar scars to mine, which look like rolling scars. I would say some Derma rolling and Derma stamping would help with some fat transfer. Did you already try any treatments? Your skin looks ok to me, but people say that to me and it's how we feel that counts. Hope this helped.

Hi,

Thank you for the reply. I've done 15% salicylic peels and 12.5% TCA peels, but was looking for something more long-term. Do you mean Dermarolling/stamping and then Subcision/fat-transfer?

Thank you, it was helpful. :)

Hi There,

Dermarolling/stamping and then fat-transfer, I'm not sure subcision would help. I'm not an expert by any means but I have tried: Laser, Subcision, peels, needling, Derma rolling/stamping amongst others. It's all trial and error really.

  1. yep I would agree, dermastamp 1.0mm if you can stand it - stamp the area 5-6 times and follow with either copper peptides or vitamin C serum...check the owndoc forum for complete instructions but I do think it would help - takes several months, but it really does work and it's cheap

i have similar scarring on my fore head also. im currently getting a treatment called enerjet for my deep boxcars and icepicks on my cheeks and im getting really good results 1 month post procedure. i wonder if enerjet would work on shallow forhead scarring also since its subcision and filler all in one technique.

Thank you for all the replies, I appreciate it. I'm definitely going to look into dermastamping. I understand the trial and error aspect of it. Though I'm curious why subcision might not help much? I usually hear of fat-transfer and subcision being done together. Thanks again.

I use the 1.5mm Derma roller/stamp, I wouldn't use any lower as wouldn't see much improvement
