You have to try it for yourself.

Yeah, you have to just try for yourself. Butter doesn't do anything bad to me (goat or cow) but any milk, yogurt, cheese, kefir, etc = BAD. But that's just me.

Thing is its soooo hard for me to tell whats causing my acne.

I mean if i can get to a point where i get no new breakouts, than i can pinpoint what is causing it.

Cow's milk was the source of my cystic acne (which has since cleared up completely in the 4 years since I cut it out of my diet completely.) I introduced goat products into my diet last year without terrible consequences. I can eat goat milk yogurt without it affecting my skin at all. However, if I eat too much goat cheese I get some small pimples and my skin becomes red/agitated. If I eat it in moderation nothing really happens. I've never tried goat butter or goat milk. I replaced butter in my diet with Earth Balance and milk with unsweetened soy milk.

I think everyone reacts differently so you'll have to just try it yourself and see what happens!

Thanks for the response. How much is too much goat cheese if you do not mind me asking

Also, regarding butter, since butter is technically just fat, it shouldnt be a problem I think..

Earth balance? Which earth balance product do you use?

How long did you test out goat butter for before arriving at your conclusions?

I have been having little goat milk with my tea in the morning--less than quarter cup but daily and about 1/2 cup of homemade goat yogurt daily 1 week so far.. I will keep you updated if I think any breakout is due to that. I use raw goat milk and make yogurt out of it too.
