As benoxyl peroxide is the main ingredient 2.5% would it be okay to adjust the regimen so that i'm using epiduo instead of plain benoxyl peroxide. I understand that to ensure the regimens maximum effectiveness it needs to be followed precisely but in theory could it be done?

Finally a bit off topic but can the epiduo cream clear up persistent moderate acne on it's own as my doctor believes I need antibiotics alongside it?
