Persistent Forehead Only Acne/folliculitis (Pics)

I am a 30 year old male on the east coast that has been battling forehead acne, spots, whatever you want to call it for years. My issue basically resides 99% on my forehead, which makes this more frustrating.

From the recent pics, you can see areas of redness, and smaller red spots on my forehead. They are usually flesh colored red bumps, that will come to head, and if looked at closely in the mirror, you can see the pore is large and looks like a little volcano. I have tried different cleaners, BHA, SA, etc, and even though they seem to work, these red spots/clogged pores keep coming back. My diet is ok, I pretty much only drink water, and eat relatively healthy, and I am tall and thin. I would consider my digestion sluggish, as sometimes I have a hard time going to the bathroom, and I know some people have related forehead acne/spots to liver/digestion issues. When the spots do come up, they're usually red, after a shower will come to a head, and if popped, secrete white stuff followed by a clear liquid/blood. This will usually dry up, then heal, and a new one will form in a different spot, but almost exclusively on my forehead. I do not have bad skin really anywhere else, just my forehead is giving me perpetual problems.

If you have read this far, I thank you, and if you reply, I thank you even more. I have attached some pics as well. Right now my forehead is very itchy, I stopped all the products and topicals because they never seemed to truly help. Thanks!

I have made two other posts regarding this, but still can't seem to find out why this is occuring.

Coresync,

Could it be the shampoo you are using? Many shampoos contain sodium lauryl sulfate or ammonium lauryl sulfate which can cause irritation / breakouts for some people. I used to have a lot of breakout issues on my forehead too. I was able to make a major improvement by switching to sulfate-free, paraben-free shampoo (Burt's Bees). Same thing applies to face cleansers too. Hope this helps, best of luck.

Hi Torquemonster, thanks for the reply! I cut out all shampoos with SLS, and any face washes that contained anything bad. I only use a shampoo bar now for my hair. I think this has to do more with digestion, and/or to much sugar, so I have since cut out all sugar and coffee in the morning, and throughout my day. The fact that I only get this these type of marks on my forehead pretty much rules out any type of facial wash or shampoo.

Do you have any dairy, especially unfermented? And do the bumps itch?

Hi Quetzlcoatl, thanks for the reply! I wanted to give a quick update to anyone that has been checking this thread with the same issue. I'm not the type to believe all the quick fixes, and miracle cures, but there is one thing that I think has been helping tremendously for my skin, and I believe the pictures show the improvements. In the original post, i noted my diet as being pretty good, I eat as healthy as possible given my busy lifestyle, and drink a lot of water.

The one thing I have added recently (in the past three+ weeks) is vitamin D3. I've been taking about 4,000IU each day. The addition of this has seemed to improve my skin texture greatly, and I have not had a single pimple or red mark since I've started taking this. I have also added (not every day) a vitamin pill of oregano, olive leaf extract, & peppermint oil to the mix. My diet has remained the same throughout this time period, and I have not done anything different as far as any regimen is concerned. I do not wash my face with anything but water in the shower, and water after my wet shave. Maybe someone else that has taken the above mentioned supplements can chime in, but I think for now (at least for me), this was the missing piece I needed.
