I have been suffering from acne since 16. Been through all the lists of things for acne from topical to antibiotics to the pill. Dianette. To the gel version of accutane (isotrex)
Nothing has worked. I get inflamed acne which is sore and one after the other causing deep scarring.
Saw a dermatologist last year he put me back on antibiotics along with topical gel
Then I stopped using anything for about 8m. Went back to GP this week asking to be referred for roaccutane.
She said I have to go back in lymecycline along with isotrex gel so the dermatologists can justify putting me on roaccutane. So annoyed!!!!
Hi hun I was in your shoes not so long ago I so badly wanted to be put on accutane and last week I finally was allowed they gave me the med everything but as soon as I got home and researched it literally scared the crap outta me!! The side effects are just way to much but I feel your pain I'm getting married soon and I'm also Asian so the hyperpingmentation is a bitch to deal with to
