Soybean oil is not necessarily bad, it's the highly refined soybean oil that is, since it contains high amounts of omega 6 and too much of may contribute to acne. Omega 6 needs to be balanced with omega 3. I personally avoid soybean oil and eat whole unprocessed soy foods rather than its oil.
Personally i wouldn't take cod liver oil since some kinds provide too much vitamin A. An excessive intake of the of vitamin A from animal sources and that includes cod liver oil, can be toxic.
A good quality fish oil supplement that provides 2-4g and is molecularly distilled is a much better choice.
