Hi,

I have 2 convex keloid / hypertrophic? scars on my chest. I am looking for advice / the best specialists/clinic (can be anywhere) who can help me remove or reduce them/ flatten the scars.

In September 2019, my marks were carved (surgical excision, 5 at a time, 2 on my chest and 3 on my back), the excision was performed unprofessionally (in a state hospital) and they healed poorly. In the last 18 months, I have had 5x procedures  (injections - corticosteroids) in a private clinic, which has shrunk for a short time, but in a few weeks the scars have returned to the same shape, I even think they are more convex over time.

I have something studied about the options that would help. I was advised that I should not undergo re-cutting the scars could grow to their original form, what is your opinion? Is it possible, to align the scars with a laser or other means (cryotherapy, enzymotherapy, laser, silicone sheeting, other composition of corticosteroids injection, etc.) to the level of the surrounding skin? I would be extremely grateful for any advice, treatment, or specialist recommendation (I live in Europe - Slovakia).
