Accutane cured my cystic acne but now I™m left with acne pits and hyperpigmentation. Any recommendation for this type of scarring? My dermatologist suggested fractional laser after 3 mos but I read online it doesn™t work on all type of scars.

Get a second (and even a third) opinion. Go to another doctor or two and don't tell them what your current doctor recommended. See if everyone says the same thing.

Thank you! Ive seen 2 dermatologists and they said the same thing..

Both doctorstold me that my scarsarent that deep or severe but I feel ashamed going out bare faced. Im having a hard time accepting these post Accutane scars considering the side effects while on the medication.

Look into TCA Cross. Dr. Lim does this on the nose.

But please research the risks which include scar widening.
