hi, I'm currently stuck in the same situation, these marks are apparently called Post Inflammatory Erythema (PIE), and please do not confuse them with PIH because i initially thought they were PIH and treated them like PIH but trust me, it got worse and spread all over my cheeks. from all the forums i've read, PIE will only heal with time.. however, i guess you can speed up the process by stop washing your face with cleanser and use sea salt water instead (ive been doing this for 5 days now and my marks are becoming less red). oh and aloe vera (the fresh ones) helps a lot with reducing the redness, you must use it constantly (it works really slowly but i swear, you'll definitely see improvements)!
please do not exfoliate because it will only irritate them and create more PIE, dont use clay masks too.
I'd recommend immediately purchasing a quality AHA (Glycolic Acid) Lotion and using twice daily after washing with a very gentle cleanser. Daniel Kern's AHA is perfect for acne-prone skin and contains a liquoriceroot extract which calms the skin. Glycolic acid lotion has many benefits including obvious moisturization, prevention of wrinkles, making the skin look more rejuvenatedsimply because it exfoliates the skin from the inside-out. It increases cell turn-over rate causing scarring to fade much more accelerated than with a normal facial moisturizer. I highly recommend you immediately purchase Daniel Kern's Acne.org Cleanser and AHA Lotion and use both twice daily 10-12 hours apart. Look at the directions of the regimen but ignore the Treatment (Step 2). Hope this can help...
