Hi my name is Joseph and I've been a victim of acne since I was 14. My skin problems became a lot worse at 17. I started having hair loss on top of my acne but I'm here because I'm struggling really bad and I feel like acne is taking over my life. I've been eating nothing but meats cooked with olive oil and veggies. I don't eat any sugar and any dairy and I still get moderate acne on my chin(a lot), nose, and cheeks especially my left. I have a few acne hyper pigmentation in the middle of my face which is very ugly. I am only 19 years old turning 20 next month and I have the diet of a very ill person. Not to knock on anyone with an illness but it's very tough not to have any dairy and sugar. I can't go out to eat anywhere because corn oil also makes me break out. I've tried every over the counter product and nothing helps. I've even spent money at a beauty place and had 3 chemical peels done and my hyper pigmentation still isn't going away and neither is the occasional pimple and my chin. My chin constantly breaks out. Right now I've decided to go all natural I use jojoba oil, castor oil, tamanu/foraha oil,lavender oil, tea tree oil. I mix them and put it on my face 40 minutes everyday. I take antioxidants and vitamin d for supplements. I take 200 mg caffeine pill creatine and beta alanine for a pre workout because I am a gym rat. I cut out the protein because I thought it makes me break out. I literally only eat meat chicken potatoes peas veggies. I don't eat any sugar or snacks no dairy what so ever and my skin is still looking okay. I had parasites as a kid but my parents don't know the medication I was on for a month I've tried everywhere and I still have no solution. I can't live normally or eat normally and I'm getting exhausted. Please help me!
Hey, ive had a similar problem where everything has made me break out. Now i just use african black soap 2x a day and exfoliate
bio oil to treat hyper pigmentation
sunscreen to protect my skin
and a salicylic acid to spot treat
ive heard that you can also use retin-a for dark spots as well

ive heard that you can also use retin-a for dark spots as welldid it stop all the break outs or do you still get acne every now and then? & did you go back to eating regular food again?

I'm in the same boat as you. For some reason almost all my cheek acne is on my left, and i've also started losing some hair/thinning. Just started Accutane and we'll see how it goes
