Hello,

I've been on the Acne.org regimen for a couple months and it's greatly improved my active acne. However, acne marks from old acne seem to be showing up more! It looks like blotchy red/purple marks and it very unflattering, especially in the sunlight. Does anyone have any suggestions?

The acne.org AHA works well for these marks! However just know that these marks take time to fade, and you won't see results instantly. Let me link you to a few resources to help you out.

Are your marks all red/purple or are they dark brown-ish?

If they're purely red/purple marks, you have Post inflammatory erythema. Read about it here: [removed]

If they're brown marks, post inflammatory hyperpigmentation. [removed]
