I have been off of accutane for 5 weeks now. Both my cheeks have lots of red marks which feel completely smooth and have faded about 25% from the pictures I took 2 months ago. I saw my dermatolgist for the last time today and he said that I have ice picks scars and these are only going to fade a little over the years? I know that these marks are just red marks because they feel smooth and have faded a bit with time and when I look in the mirror in different lighting I see no indents. So, I am wondering, can these red marks somehow be ice picks or develop into ice pick scars??
