hey everyone,

basically about 3 days ago i looked in the mirror, and decided, I DONT WANT BLACKHEADS ANY MORE! so i decided (the urge is unbelievable) to squeeze and attempt to pop my blackheads. all good so far, until i looked up in the mirror, and was immediately greeted with the huge red marks on my nose. no matter the amount of ice, cold water i splashed on them, they never went away. it is now 3 days later, and i am still left with them. what are they? and what treatments should i take to get rid of these. thanks

+++ how long will they take to go?

Don't pick at them! They're just hyperpigmentation from picking. Use BHA to exfoliate the skin to get rid of blackheads.

Except those aren't blackheads - they're sebaceous filaments and everyone has them! The best you can do is exfoliate regularly, but squeezing them will only make them worse.
