I have really bad hyperpigmentation, and I want to do a series of mild peels to lessen their appearance. However, I've read there's a chance that the peels could make my already huge pores appear larger. What do you think?

i don't recommend using any peels at home even if it's mild, there is a chance for scaring or more hyperpigmantion , there are products contain hydroxy acids at low percentages ,i think that they are more safe, and remember always to making skin patch,i saw your photos, your skin looks so good and you are beautiful, just be happy and enjoying your life..

Agree with post above .

Your skin is great looking ,and a peel made by you might done more damage than good.

Low percentage AHA or BHA ,also Differin or Retin-a if you really want to do something

I burned my thumb patch-testing a peel so those things will never go anywhere near my face. It's not worth the risk.
