So , before we start, just to be clear : hyperpigmentation(usualy dark/brown marks) , red (erythema).

I read a lot of atricles where are people who say : "I have this red/dark marks for 6 mouths or a year" , when I heard them I was so scarry because I want my red marks to go badly.

So I keep reshearching , until I found a video where a doctor is talking about red/dark marks.

He sais that they should fade in 1-3 months ,when I heard him sayin' that I was about to close the video, but something keep me not to , and I keep watcing, and at the end of a video , I ran to my cell phone , and make photo of my skin with the LED on , and he was right!

So now your probably wondering , he was right about what?Well, I will put the video at the end of this article but until then I will try to explain.

He said that people who had these marks for over 6-12 months, were NEVER clear,a sand size pimple can't be seen with the eye, this or a cyst/nodule were keep refiling that red area so the redness keep staying there.

So now , go get ur camera or your phone ,and make a photo with the blitz/led ON(so you can see all the imperfections) and look there,if you see something small that's a sand size pimple and that's why you still have the dark or the red marks.

Sorry for my bad english here is the video :

so basically, the whole thing about how tanning and being exposed to the sun "prolonging" the dark marks on the face and "making the mark permanent", is fake? as long as you get rid of that little sandcorn bump of a pimple, the dark mark will fade with time, regardless of how much you have tanned? because after all, the dark mark was caused by that pimple`? so even if you tan alot, as long as the little sandcorn pimple disappears, the marks will also disappear with time?

how come people keep saying that tanning will only worsen the dark marks and make them permanent, if the root of the mark was an active pimple? that means that as long as you get rid of the bumps and the pimple, the marks will fade, right. so tanning making things worse is basically NOT true, because it has absolutely nothing to do with the little sandcorn pimple, after all.

am i correct?

does that mean that i can go ahead and tan? cause i have some bad dark marks...and my skin tone is very light.

This, is lame. And he is making up more fake information to promote his product. Basically, he said, " You, are stuck with your marks forever, if you had them for over 6 months. "

Right.. sneaky guy, he knows if you had your red marks for over 6 months, he knows how desperate you are to get rid of them. The longer you have, the worse you feel. The more you spend.

Soo, " You are stuck with red marks for LIFE, unless you buy our starter kit. "

+ i tried his product for 6 months. Nothing. He can KMA.

No , so if you are deep skin tone you will probably get dark/brown marks , if you have lighter you will get red , I don't know how you have light skin and dark marks, but dark marks will take longer to heal because it's the tan + the wound ,at the red marks it's only the wound.

Lol, did you even watch all the video?

No one is telling you to buy his products , that picture with that boy that you saw , was the time not his products, yes of course he said that with his products you can clear acne up so the red marks can fade , but if you already have a regimen that clears acne up, like Dan's just keep with that until ur 100% clear and then the red marks will fade with TIME not with his products.

a lot of people have their marks last longer than 3 months from BP. I'm a case of this, my marks are lasting 6 months or more because I put BP on them, but now i've stopped and the marks are less severe. what this guy is saying might be true, but some people just have long lasting marks from BP

EDIT: I continued watching the video, and I wanted to say that I usually keep my tan throughout winter (I live in Canada so winter is like 5 months), and I'm significantly tanner than my family the whole year. maybe this is why my marks are lasting longer?

I'm not completely convinced.. mainly because i know some ppl have very delicate, fair complected skin where things like abrasions, wounds, sunburns, infections, and old "pimple spots" just take a loooonnnng time to heal. Luckily, my skin is not in that category. But my brother's on the other hand is. He STILL has a tan line from almost 2 years ago. so. it's possible that these dark marks and red marks are not from "recent activity" in all cases.. but simply take an excessive amount of time to heal.

I heard that too , I heard BP make the marks to stay longer so if your marks are staying 6 months with bp on them everyday, I would say they would fade in 3 months if you do not but BP on them. But , and there is a big BUT , if you stop puting bp on them ur acne might come make and this wil result in more red marks , if you have ur acne under control with the BP , stick with it , it's not worth to stop using it so the marks can fade faster, cuz they will fade!

You might be right. But if you shearch on google about red marks, they say if you still have a red mark / dark mark from ACNE not other lession , it is considered a SCAR.I myself can see little improvment in my red marks everyday, but some people only see them every month or every 3 weeks. As the marks stay longer on ur skin the loger it will take to fade, if the marks are very different from ur skin type it will take longer to fade.

If you have pale/fair skin like you said , and let's say you got acne but that heal, and now yo u have red wounds ,the red color it's going to be pinkish because it will be really wierd to see someone with PALE skin and have a persistent red on the face.lol
