So I started using aqua glycolic cleanser, and alpha hydrox AHA souffle, a few weeks ago. They seems to be working great, and I am seeing improvement, more then anything else I have seen do. My small indents I had from past breakouts have finally filled up.

The only thing that isn't going away fast is the redness. It just seems like its not taking the redness out of my face. Is there anything else I can use that will help with the redness, or am I going to just have to wait and see how this works. I know it takes time, but I didn't know if anything else can be added to help

call me a pussy but...i stopped use of this product. I couldn't take it anymore. i used it for 1 week and each day it broke me out with atleast 2 more lesions each day. so i switched to my normal head and shoulders shampoo cleanser (the onyl thing that has EVER worked on my face) and i haven't broke out since so I think I'll keep it that way.

Ok, can you send me your AG then??

hah are you serious. i would gladly send it to u but im only 15 so i don't know the process of sending packages

Are you using any form of sunblock? If not, then that's your problem right there.

I think some of you with acne should hold off using this until you are moderately clear. Almost any topical will probably irritate your acne and make it worse if it's already there. I just got this product so I don't know exactly how effective it is yet, but I suspect that's it's not gentle enough to clear red marks and acne at the same time. Maybe I'm wrong though, I'll have to see for myself

Well the description of this actually says "helps improve acne". I have actually seen a huge improvement in my acne (though my acne isnt REALLY bad or anything), probably since i clears all the dead skin away very nicely, so no more newly clogged pores. My recent breakouts seem to be from previously clogged pores, and it looks to me that they are unclogging themselves. So i just gotta wait it out i think, and ill be clear.

Same here, 110%.

I was actually just about to post something very similar to this.. Took the thoughts right out of my head.

Good luck, and here's to our future clarity. 😉

That's great news actually. I just started using the product today but will hold off judgment at least for a week or two. I have fairly mild acne, but a lot of red marks mainly on my forehead. Seems like they have been there forever and I hope this helps

Anyway, I will update also if I don't forget

What's up guys I'm new here. So all my acne is basically gone except for a few spots here and there, and it's mostly red marks. I just bought a bottle of this stuff from my local Walgreens. How do you guys mostly put it on, so I know I'm not doing it wrong.

Tonight was my first night using it. How many sprays do you guys usually do to rub it in at first? Do you splash water on your face when it tells you to mix it with water, or do you just put the water on your finger tips? Do you use this two times a day, or just at night?

I use 2 pumps of it on my face. I massage for about a minute, then "splash" water on my face and massage again, then I wash it all off. I do this twice a day as well.

So I just got the aqua glycolic toner yesterday and have begun using it with the cleanser. So far aqua glycolic is working very well for red marks, but I have quite a bit of active acne that needs to go  hopefully the toner will take care of that

This stuff is definitely very good. About 4 days in, I'm noticing a lot of my red marks becoming lighter and lighter, and i can almost feel them wanting to come off. At this rate, I think I'd be clear-faced in almost a week.

Thanks everyone!

Okay I have to stopped using the cream, Its caused a MASIVE break out, I mean this pimpled is HUGE I have never gotten something this big before. Its all purple and I think its a cyst but whatever it is, I've had one similar and it turned purple and left a scar

It sucks cause it worked a bit on my red marks but its cause some bad breakouts. This cream stuff is really thick and I don't like how it goes on my face.

I'm so fucking tired of this, I've tried EVERYTHING on this damn board and at the stores, doctors, and nothing is working. :(:doubt:

That's what I'm doing.

-----

Update: It's been a week.

I'm still struggling through this inital breakout phase.. But I am not seeing any new bumps forming under my skin. With each new spot, I'm just that much closer to being Cleeeeaarrrr. How long is the skin cycle? Every 28 days or something? I can do ittttt.

As for redmarks.. This stuff is incredible. Most of mine are at least 50% less noticable, and are easily covered by a slight dab of concealer.. Incredible when compared to pre-AG when all of the concealer in the world couldn't help me. Each day, they lighten more and more. I think it also has to do with the fact that I've sworn off BP forever.. Use BP on spots and you might as well be using a red Sharpie.

There will probably be an initial breakout from any product you use until you get used to it. Most of the time it will get worse before it gets better, that's just how it works. Some people completely abandon products that can help a ton in the long run simply because of of a breakout that might not have even been caused my that product. I know because I do the same thing all the time, although I'm trying to stop.

As for not liking how it goes on your face, you should only have it on for about 30 seconds anyhow. It's not like you're leaving it on all day

Anyhow, good luck

I'm guilty of this, also. I have a serious bin containing a massive assortment of facewashes, toners, scrubs, masks, creams, lotions, treatments, etc..

Ick.. Sucks to think of how much money I've wasted.

Helps your marks appear less splotchy, but after 1+ week of use still has not had any noticeable effect on fading redmarks

I'll continue to use it and see how it goes

Im confused about how to shave in the morning. On the AG bottle for cleansing it says to apply to a dry face...but to shave it says to apply to a wet face. I am starting to have razor bumps again...any advice?
