How can you order this product if you're in Europe? All the websites I've been to only serve US and Canada!

I originally ordered this from the same ebay seller as another poster in this topic (Elf Salad I think) but I received a refund after the seller's supplier apparently had none left. So I ordered from this user instead a few days ago - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Aqua-Glycolic-Facial...VQQcmdZViewItem

I think the cost for the actual item itself was cheaper but the shipping was pretty steep compared to the other user but I couldn't really find it anywhere else so I just ordered it.

Hey Greg! :wavey: Ive missed you, long time no chat!

That sucks that its hard for you to get people to sell you stuff in Europe. I wonder if drugstore.com sells to Europe

yeah the shipping was quite expensive for the guy i used but the others shipping costs seemed huge.

I think this product is good, however i know its better than the results im getting. Is it necessary to use this twice a day? i am doing it and while i am getting very little new acne and the skin is smoother than its been in ages my face looks very red at the moment. It looks awful against my pale skin and i dont know what im doing wrong. I aint going in the sun very much.

Would it be ok to use this just once a day in the evening? or would that not help me? help would be much appreciated, thanks

I tried drugstore.com but they don't serve UK/Europe either it seems. Argh!! The ebay postage is way too expensive for the price of the product! I'd rather go there myself to get it! lol

Your face may be adjusting to it if you haven't used many AHA in the past. My first three days my face was red, but I stayed with it and now it usually looks best after I use the product prior to moisturizer. I use it twice, only reason I wouldn't use it once is that every other cleanser I've ever used made me breakout or dry out, which this product hasn't done.

I think I'm going to try this product. I have mild acne, though it's usually the inflamed kind, and my red marks usually last 2-6 months. The only problem is, my face is very red at the moment because of over-doing product application. For me, a red face is worse than my acne, so I'm hesitant in buying the cleanser. Would a once-a-day or every-other-day application do the trick? Also, would the toner be of use to me?

Thanks,

Lauren

Let me just tell everyone this... IN order for ANY product that u use to work, you need to use it for ATLEAST 1-2 months to see the results you want...Some people just use a product for a day and say its to drying or made my face red...TOUGHIN up and give it a try for atleast a month so u dont waist your damn money!

By the way, aqua glycolic is the best cleanser ive ever used!

Alright then, I'll try my best to "toughen up". Lol. My Aqua Glycolic should be in tomorrow... I hope they ordered the cleanser and not the toner.

Wow.. I think I found the right thread. :]

My face is constantly red, especially on my cheeks and forehead. Sometimes, people think I'm drunk ( i get red when i'm drunk) when i'm really not. i have extremely extremely sensative skin, and anything gycolic screams dry skin to me. has any asians try this yet? i really wanna try this, but im scared.

How long before you all started seeing results? I noted that few experienced an initial breakout, correct?

Also.. I don't use toners.. Would I be cool with simply washing with the facial cleanser and moisturizing with Jojoba Oil? Or do I need the toner and can still moisturize?

I was off of BP for awhile and my redmarks faded.. Now that I've been using it again, they've made a major comeback. :snooty: They can go away now.

Thank you, thank you..

hey im asian and i just ordered this so i'll tell you how it goes when i get it, whcih should be in a few days.

Though Nothings really dramatically worked on my skin so my opinion may be a bit biased.

To get rid of your redness try fruit of the earth aloe vera gel. you can basically get it any retail pharmacy and there have been countless positive ratings on it, especially to fade red marks and get rid of redness instantly

Hey Molly :wavey:

Yeah, it's pretty difficult to find a lot of good products over here. I mean, Boots and stores like that have some good products but when it comes to AHAs with higher percentages they are a little limited mainly because of the EU ruling that AHAs may be dangerous due to sun exposure or some rubbish like that.

Drugstore.com doesn't sell to Europe unfortunately, I don't see why they can't or won't, meh

23 postage to teh UK? you must be out of your mind!!!!

After I bought it I wondered if I was doing the right thing (I mean the shipping is almost 4 times the price of the actual product) and maybe I should have looked around harder but bar ebay I couldn't really find anywhere else

so just got it. If it helps some then that will make up somewhat for the monstrous shipping costs.

However, unless someone finds a cheaper price elsewhere I may try one of the products you suggested earlier in the topic like the Olay one or the MD Formulations cleanser. I aint spending 30 a month on that stuff even if the results are decent.

Lol. You would probably receive it quicker too if you went over yourself. Most stuff I order from the US takes 2/3 weeks to come.

As a side note, I have very fair skin - would this make me more susceptible to sunburn/damage? I'm not out in the sun much, but since I live in Arizona, I'd like to be aware of anything of this sort.

Thanks.

My advice for buying on ebay is that you buy 2/3 of them in one shop. The price of the packaging is basically the same and then it also is good considering you would have to wait a couple of weeks for it to arrive. I would guess each bottle will last a month, so you could also enjoy the product longer without any gaps.

Yes, it will. Glycolic acid makes your skin more susceptible to UV rays, so if you are going to use it, make sure you use sunblock right after, or a moisturizer with an SPF of at least 15. Try Cetaphil's SPF 15 moisturizer or clean & clear PF 15 moisturizer.

I learned that the hard way, I didn't put sunblock on the day I went fishing, and bam, when I got home, face was red and sunburned... :(, but now it has healed lol
