i always use calendula cream or ointment to help cuts heal fast. i think hydrogen peroxide is mostly for cleaning them out, not so much for helping healing. health food stores carry calendula. you could also try neosporin and put it only on the cut, cover it with a band-aid as much as possible. i will do that if i don't have calendula on hand. i have a big permanent pitted scar on my nose from picking a scab so its definitely not worth doing that for any reason.
