So I have a terrible, terrible issue with picking at my skin. If I have a bad zit, I'm like "well, I'll just pop this so it can heal faster!" and then I continue trying to get stuff out of my skin, and if something won't come out, I try harder and sometimes end up scabbing my skin. It's so bad and I know if I stopped, I could have (somewhat) clear skin!
My second bad habit is excessive shopping! So I devised this little plan to help control both habits.
I will count the days it's been since I've picked at my acne. Once I hit 7 days, I will treat myself to a little something. If I can make it 14 days, I will buy something a little more expensive that I've wanted.
Basically, it's a reward system for not picking, and also a system to control my spending. (because apparently having flawless skin isn't a good enough motive to stop picking at my skin!)
What do you guys think? Would you take up this same system to help you?
Sound interesting girl! I have similar issues as you.I don't often think anything before shopping. And afterthat, my wallet become clear, and i feel that I don't need these stuffs Lol. I'm joining not picking challenge in this topic as well with hope that my skin will be better someday. So Fighting girl!!!!
