Ever since I got mono, I've had bad acne on my forehead. What can I do about this? Why is this causing me acne? It's been 4 years and I'm tired of dealing with it. Yes 4 years later, I still have mono.
I've heard mono can cause liver damage and that can cause acne.. And milk thistle could help. Is this correct? I need help. I'm 19 yrs old and I'm having more acne problems than I did going through puberty. It's really rare for me to have bad acne. I would just get the occasional pimple. Now I'm getting these horrific breakouts on my forehead and rn I have some on my chin. 
Hi, I'm not sure mono causes acne but maybe it lowered your immune system or your resistance. I had it a few years ago and have fatigue ever since. It wont hurt to try milk thistle for liver function but it could have simply been a coincidence in timing. Try turmeric+ milk + aspirin mask on your active acne areas. You're very young your hormones may still settle.
