ok so I came off the pill 5 months ago and skin was fine untill end of October.. Started to flare up! And now I keep getting just these red raised bumps with  no head just on cheeks mainly these started about a month ago.. Had one or two and eventually i get more and more.. I went to doctors and they put me on lymecycline cause I didn't really wanna go back on the pill.. Was on them
For 2 weeks and kept getting hot flushes and rashes on my neck and looked like spots were getting worse so I went back to doctors and they said to stop taking it if things ain't getting any better.. So I recently decided to go back on the pill ( rigevidgon) it's been 11 days now but no change yet.. Doctor has said I need to give the pill time as it's probably hormones since it happen after I stopped the pill.. But every day new ones appear there hot and have no head on them.. When they go down they leave red marks but as soon as some go down more come up at least 2-3 a day! Really worried I went to the doctors and they said need to give the pill time
To adjust hormones..I'm using duac gel tea tree oil face masks, steaming face.. but nothing helps! I haven't got any on my forehead just cheeks..it's seriously making me really depressed and stressed out Isit normal to get them every day? Will it ever stop?  I usually only use to get spots that have whiteheads.. And once popped they go away.. Im starting to think these could possibly be bites maybe? Its been a  month and they ain't stopping. I just hope it's to do with hormones and will sort itself out once the pill kicks in! Anyone else have something similar??

I get the same bumps! They appear at random and some will come to a head, but others just linger on my cheeks for days. It's so frustrating, but this definitely leads me to think that both of ours are hormonal, since you mentioned getting off of birth control. I assume I have low estrogen, and since your body was no longer receiving estrogen from the pill, maybe you could have the same? Is your skin slow to heal, as well? My pigmentation lingers for MONTHS.

Fcntcsy, thank you for your response. Mine are the exact same way, and I never even thought to attribute them to being related to low estrogen. I, too, am slow to heal.. Ive not really noticed any hyperpigmentation or it lingering, though. Does your face ever itch? Ive noticed just my cheeks(where the bumps normally are) itching like crazy here lately. The more I think about it, the more I realize its been doing it for quite some time. I chalked it up to allergies for the longest, but its only my cheeks when I tend to have more of these spots flare up. I think Ill try to go back onto birth control soon.. hopefully it will help. Thanks, again, for your response.
