Hi,
Recently I've had bad acne around my mouth mainly. I'm 19 years old, male. I've always had it growing up however recently it's got really bad (in my eyes its bad.) I don't really know where to go from here because it's been like this for over 10 days now. Keep getting really big red spots underneath the skin under and to the side of my mouth with yellow heads along the top of my mouth. Any suggestions on where I go from here would be great. Thank you!
Start eating things that have anti flammatory benefits.the red spots is inflammation and usualy afterwards the whitehead appears inside it.smaller whiteheads is inflammation also but not as bad.try not to squeeze them too much.
its all caused by hirmones and inflammatory toxins building up in your body.dont be suprised if you have to give up certain foods stuff because if you dont it will persist and might get worse.
dont be suprised if you up your intake of say veg and fruit if it gets worse,it could be your skin purging getting rid of all the toxins and oxidised s@@t out your skin,it will clear but you will have to keep up a good acne friendly regime.
Hi,
thanks for your response. The following day I posted this, I shaved and it went down quite a bit. Still red spot beneath the skin but a lot more whiteheads appeared above the lip and under the mouth. Any particular foods I should avoid? I already know stay away from fast food & anything high in sugars.
Fruit broke me out big time,i eat a slice of water melon,a slice of pineapple at lunch and eat a bannana at dinner in evening.nothing realy gos on that i can complain about but 10 days ago i thought i would eat more fruit and boy did i mess up big time.
i started with blueberrys and 2 days later started breaking out, never made the connection and threw nectarines, peachs and plums in there and my slin nose dived!
i had to stop the extra fruit and introduced green tea in the morning and last thing at night to try get this s@@t under control.
been drs today and got finacea cream!
now its all calming down fingers crossed.
i would cut back on something your eating or introduce something non sweet,no sugar whatsoever thats an anti flammatory, like green tea.
Yeah I guess fruit could be the problem. I do eat quite a bit fruit sometimes, too much could make my face explode I guess.
Did you notice a difference when you introduced green tea daily or have you only started doing it recently?
For me I'm just finding it difficult what I could be eating that's a problem because my diet is actually pretty good. I hardly have any diary if any at all, plenty of veg etc, drink plenty of water, exercise regularly.
