Endometriosis and cystic acne

I have endometriosis and am currently on Mirena to help manage it. Last summer I was on 3 months of Bactrim and Rentin-A cream. It healed my painful cystic acne on my body and face for about half a year. It has now come back and my Derm is wanting to put me on Accutane. Will accutane be successful for hormonal acne? I am 31 and my acne is so painful. But I'm worried about the side effects when I'm already dealing with pain on a daily basis from my endometriosis

Hi, accutane might clear you up for a while (6 months to two years is common) but if the hormonal issues remain, it will likely come back. If you're considering accutane you should know the potential risks which are serious. Have you tried spironolactone or hormonal birth control? What about ablation or surgery for the endometriosis? My old boss had to have hers removed and she feels a lot better.
Heres an example of what's common for hortmonal accutane users

It may help for a time but there are as lot of risks.
