Hello,
I am 20 and have suffered with acne for absolutely years now, with highs and lows. Around 2 years ago my skin was completely clear and I thought I had managed to get rid of my acne but after that heavenly time it started getting worse and worse. It is now, what I feel, hormonal acne as it is located on the sides of my chin and is constantly there! Some of them are hard large bumps and others are ones with whiteheads but no matter what I always have acne down the sides of my chin. Nothing I do will make them go away - if I eat badly I get spots but if I eat well I still get spots. I've tried not wearing makeup, changing pillowcases, relaxing etc but nothing works. Everything just seems pointless. Also, they will ALWAYS leave a scar even if I don't even touch it and the spots are often very close together and almost feel like they are packed on top of one another! This makes it very painful.
Please, I don't know what I am supposed to do - I feel like I am at my wit's end. Please does anybody know what I can do?

This is exactly my problem! I have heard about birth control pills. You can try them out.
Also, are you suffering from any hormonal syndromes?
I am currently on a progesterone only pill as I'm not allowed estrogen. However, my acne was bad before I went on it so I don't think it is that. And I'm not sure, what hormonal symptoms can you get?

Uum I guess somewhat like PCOS. But seriously isint there any other way to get rid of them apart from birth control pills or any other oral meds?

I have no idea but it drives me crazy! Waking up every morning with 2 more spots and the existing ones just don't go!
