I started to take Spironolactone- 100mg a day in November 13 2014 due to hair loss. My period was regular in December. I have a period every 28 days and last 4 days. In January, my period came 7 days early. Two weeks later, I noticed spotting for 2 days. My period was supposed to come on January 28 and until today a February 14 I haven't seen it. I fell cramps from now and then since the day my period was supposed to come. It is the same sensation when I am about to have my period. I stopped Spiro since last week of January. I am freaking out right now. Can it be a side effect of the Spiro?
why did you stop the spiro? it can really screw with your periods for a while until your body gets used to it. for the first so many months i had 2 periods a month and now 2 years later its mostly on time but i've had a few times where its really late. i wouldnt worry too much unless you think you might be pregnant.
