I have had severe adult acne for years now. Acne on my back, shoulders, chest, around my hair line, and severely painful cystic acne on jawline and neck. I tried prescription strength acne face wash, washing with natural oils, changes in my diet, etc. To make a long story short - I was given a new shampoo and conditioner to try and my acne immediately started to clear up! I still have scars, whiteheads and pimples that are drying up and are in a healing state. But since I stopped using Pantene Pro V products I have had NO new acne spots. It's been a week and everything is clearing up, my back and chest are completely clear! Since my neck and jawline were the worst I still have spots but they are healing. I had made an appointment with my OBGYN to have my hormones tested because the acne was causing me such pain and seemed to be getting worse every month.

STOP USING PANTENE PRO V PRODUCTS!!!!!

After I first suspected the Pantene Pro V was causing my adult acne I looked into it further and found many others also claiming that Pantene Pro V caused back acne, clusters of pimples on the neck, etc. I'm so lucky that it was a simple fix, I just can't believe I didn't think to look into the hair products since I looked into everything else. I know this won't fix everyone's acne issues but if it will help one person then I'm glad I posted this.
