In France Dianette is still available. What were your bad side effects with Yaz and Yasmin ?

The side effects I had were extreme fatigue, dry mouth, and hair loss. If I didn't have those side effects I would still be taking yasmin because it worked extremely well for my acne.

Soon I'll be starting my 4th month on Belara. I'm happy to report that my hair is definitely not falling out :) My skin is being pretty well behaved right now, but I'm still not contributing it to the Belara alone. Still waiting for the oily skin to slow down, but I'm just so happy about not losing my hair.

Ok, thank you for your answer. It's sad to have the solution against acne but not be able to use it. Do you have acne pimples now ?

My skin is weird. If I put makeup on I break out in deep pimples and it's like I have bad acne. If I use traditional cleansers I break out. If I keep my usual routine (oil cleansing a now chemical peels) I don't have much active "acne." I do still have some congestion (clogs) and oily skin. When I was taking yasmin the last time I was able to wear whatever makeup I wanted and use any cleanser and my face remained clear. I can't do that yet, but I'm hoping to continue to see improvements.

Feeling a little discouraged today. It has been 4 months and my skin does not seem to be any less oily :( I may just be being impatient. I know hormonal treatments take awhile, but it's hard to not see much difference by now.

I'm sorry that you're not getting the desired results you want. How's your acne?

My acne is actually under control right now, mostly because I have not been using traditional cleansers or wearing makeup. I use a mix of watermelon seed oil and cromollient to cleanse and apply a mix of ascorbic acid and water after cleansing. Instead of makeup I just wear plain silk powder. I've also been experimenting with peels. Interestingly salicylic peels break me out, glycolic might too, and I'm allergic to mandelic. My pores are actually quite clear now, but I do still have some clogs and I'm still very oily.

I think I was being overly negative the other day. I read through some of the reviews on here for various hormonal treatments and many people did not notice major improvements at the point that I'm at. My skin is better, but not where I want it to be. I don't have any hair loss or any other side effects. I guess I just need to be more patient.

It has been 4 months and I think my skin is a little less oily and my hair is definitely oily. My inflamed acne is under control right now, but if I wear makeup I do get inflamed pimples. My non-inflamed acne is still an issue. I haven't been picking, and the blackheads/sebaceous filaments on my nose are driving me nuts. I don't remember how my clogged nose pores reacted to anti-androgens in the past, but I'm really hoping they improve. My hair still isn't falling out; I think it might actually be thicker.

I just started my 6th month on belara, and there's not much new going on. My skin seems to fluctuate between being oily and less oily. I wish I new why it's not more consistent. Maybe I haven't given it long enough yet?

I just started accutane so I'm no longer going to be able to accurately judge how well belara works from this point on. My hope is that the belara will help to keep my skin clearer and less oily after this round of accutane, but I'm not sure if that's just wishful thinking.

I haven't updated this log in so long because I started accutane and I'm not sure what improvements I should attribute to the Belara and which ones I should attribute to the Accutane. One thing I can definitely say, though, is that my hair is still not falling out. I think my hair has actually gotten a lot thicker since starting the Belara. Right now I have a period every month, but I think I'm planning to start having a period only every third month so that I'm not skipping the active pills for a whole week every month.

Hi! I really want to know if you've been taking Belara all this time. I started taking Gynorelle, which is another version for Belara in Colombia. I've been taking it for 15 days and I don't notice any improvement in my oily skin... Although I don't have any cysts right now, and it usually happens arround the middle of my cycle.

If any one has taken this pill and wants to share their experience, it would be amazing. Thanks!!
