I have competently cured my acne, so happy with it. I have suffered from mild hormone cystic acne for 2 years. I have done blood check my doctor told me I have high testosterone and prescribed diane-35 for me. It help but makes me gaining weight and feel depressed. After 6 months I stop it, and acne come back. I don't want go back on birth control pills and search for natural remedies.

Here is my regimen:

Saw Palmetto is a real miracle! It suppress the testosterone much better than diane-35. Now I have oil free clear skin, I have never experienced! Except SP, I also take Vitex, herbal detox blend, it helps the total body detox and make skin looks clearer and glowing. But I think SP does the most jobs.

I break down the supplements I take everyday.

Now Foods Saw Palmetto Extract 1 softgel:

Saw Palmetto Berry Extract (85-95% Fatty Acids) (Supercritical CO2 Extract)320 mg,Organic Pumpkin Seed Oil 150 mg

Now Foods Chaste Berry Vitex Extract 1 softgel:

Chaste Berry Tree (Vitex) min. 0.5% Agnusides 300 mg, Dong Quai 150 mg

Planetary Herbals Yellow Dock Skin Cleanse, 635 mg 2 tablets with lunch:

Yellow Dock Root, Echinacea purpurea and pallida Root Extract, Myrrh Gum Resin, Poria Sclerotium, Echinacea pallida Root Extract, Wild Yam Root, Marshmallow Root, Wild Yam Root Extract, Gentian Root Extract, and Bupleurum Root Extract (5% saikosaponins).

use Freederm Gel & Mario Badescu Drying Lotion after poping the zits

Dr Sebagh breakout powder & cream for oil control (discontinued now because no more oil produced)

Good for you! How long have you been off bcp though? My skin was always the clearest a few months after coming off bcp, and then the massive breakouts would happen. Did you get any guidance from a naturopath for this combination of herbs and supplements?

So glad you found something that worked for you! I was taking saw palmetto and then stopped because I am scared of weight gain. How long did it take you to see results - i.e be completley clear?
