Im really frustrated. Im in the middle of my fifth pack of necon 1/35 and ive been getting constant yeast infections. And i dont want to stop this pill because it cleared my skin..i dont know if i should switch to a different higher dose pill with a different progestin in it or switch to a low dose pill because the amount of estrogen in necon is high. I dont know if the yeast is being caused by the progestin in necon or just the estrogen. Anyone have any ideas?

Birth control pills disrupt the flora in the body so that could be why you're getting yeast infections. You could try eating yogurt daily and taking a probiotic to see if that helps.

Yeah, I was on a birth control pill with those same hormones but a lower dose and I was extremely prone to yeast and bacterial infections. Since stopping my bcp I haven't had a problem. Talk to your doctor and see what they say. Otherwise all I can think of is eating an anti-candida diet.

Have you tried strong antifungal herbs like oregano oil and pau d'arco?
