Has anyone tried these to balance their hormones? Basically they are supposed to repair your adrenal glands and pituitary glands. These have been recommended by a Chinese herbalist to help my melasma and acne. I'm on spironolactone now, but don't want to take it forever. I'm wondering if this will help get my body balanced and no longer need the spiro?

Here's a bit of info from the Standard Process website, but I've also attached their PDF's. Anyone familiar with these? I couldn't find a ton of info online.

Drenamin:

Drenamin is a special combination product formulated to help maintain the healthy functioning of the adrenal glands, which are involved in innumerable physiological functions inside the body. Drenamin accomplishes this by supplying vital nutrients combined with bovine adrenal tissue proteins and bovine adrenal PMGa extracts.a

Pituitrophin:

The pituitary gland is often referred to as the master gland of the body. It is an endocrine gland that stores and secretes a number of hormones to regulate and balance many metabolic activities and physiological functions. Pituitrophin PMG contains Protomorphogena extracts which are uniquely derived nucleoprotein-mineral extracts that support cellular health. Bovine pituitary PMGa extract helps maintain the pituitary gland in a good state of repair to support healthy pituitary function.a

Symplex F:

Symplex F is a special combination formula containing Protomorphogena extracts from bovine ovary, adrenal, pituitary, and thyroid glands. The ovaries secrete several female sex hormones, including estrogen and progesterone. These hormones function in a feedback system balancing female sexual functions. Symplex F contains Protomorphogena extracts which are uniquely derived nucleoprotein-mineral extracts that support cellular health. Bovine ovary, adrenal, pituitary, and thyroid PMGa extracts help maintain the healthy function of these corresponding organs and glands.a

Not sure if you ever tried this product or had success. If you did, please let me know.

My Chiro just recommended Drenamin to me. She has to order the product, so I won't be starting on them until next week. Hope it will work.
