I'm 17, male, and a year ago I got some pimple here and there.
But 2 weeks after all my chicks were covered of BIG, full of pus cystic pimples. It was this everyday for 3 months (I grew up really fast that time) and on February it got better but still big pimples breakouts and scars.
Now I have less less more but still, my face is red and full of red scars.
Recently , more than a week ago, I got 2 cystic pimples again, So I decided to start a Paleo diet and here is my feedback for the first week:
- No more cystic pimples AT ALL !
- BUT a lot of little disgusting pimples around my mouth (first beard ?)
- Less irritated cheeks, I feel like I have more oil on my face
I think my acne is purely hormonal, and diet is making it better or worse, but I'll see what happens next
Hey man, the Paleo diet is most likely a good factor in the lower acne formations (no cysts). The thing with this diet is that you will have to be patient. I still got pimples even 4 weeks in on the diet. But after 6-8 weeks the skin and your body will get used to the diet, and you will begin to see big results, trust me.
Also if you make sure to have good skincare routines and proper methods to help in on this, then it would be beneficial as well.

Yea people say that the skin renew itself each 6 weeks, I just need to hold on then.
