I started taking them soon after I got Infini RF treatment for my acne scars (pits, not pigmentation). Online research have revealed that they can have stimulatory impact on collagen production. I ain't sure if they help with zits though.

Can I throw out a personal suggestion? Try this for the next two weeks.
1)Cut out dairy from your diet and drink a hefty amount of water.
2) Only wash your face with water--no soap!
3)Don't apply anything to the face except a light moisturizer.Your skin needs to breathe.
