Hi! I have now taken a fairly low dose of DIM Plus (1st time 75 mg and 2nd time 50 mg) two times and gotten a weird reaction. The first time i wasnt sure if it was the DIM that caused this reaction, but now im pretty sure. Some hours after taking a capsule I experience increased heart rate that comes out of nowhere. Really uncomfortable. I wonder if anyone else here has experienced the same thing when taking DIM? I have not seen anywhere that this could be one of the side effects.
I just realized that my body kind of acts as if ive been drinking alcohol when i take DIM; elevated heart rate, warm, and i wake up with skin/body feeling tender to the touch, which sometimes happens if ive been drinking alcohol. I guess this has to do with the liver not responding well to the Diindolylmethane..
Could be. I haven't had this issue. I was feeling extremely hot when I was taking the recommended dose of vitex. I have since cut that in half. Your liver could be really backed up. Everyone's body reacts differently. Maybe try a liver cleanse with it, and see how it goes.
