Natural Methods Aren't Working For Me.

I decided to stop using all commercial cleansers and products on my face, after watching videos/testimonials and reading lots of information on acne. I've used the oil cleansing method, cold cream, caveman, ext.

Half a year later - nothing. My acne/rosecea is the worst it's ever been. There could be no correlation, but the point is, it's not working. My skin was much clearer in around, August. I used to use CeraVe gentle cleanser, and Cetaphil moisturizer.

I'm out of options. I've tried everything. Proactive, OCM, cold cream, probiotics, l-lysine, nothing at all, basic cleanser, apple cider cinegar, going vegan - you name it.

Is it time to go back to regular products? Even though my skin was still bad, it could improve. Should I start going on antibiotics? I'm lost.

If your acne hasn't been improving, you might want to go and try some other drug store products. I would have recommended trying Cetaphil and CeraVe as a cleanser, but since you've already tried that, I unfortunately can't think of any cleanser at the moment that may help you. Could you describe exactly what kind of regimens you were on with the cleansers? Maybe adding something to your Cetaphil/CeraVe regimen may help you?

I've personally never taken antibiotics for acne, but I've seen several posts here on the forums of people adamantly proclaiming that antibiotics have led to them having long term side effects. (Something like yeast growing in the stomach?)

If you wanted to give another shot at natural cleansers and exfoliators, you can check out Lush cosmetics. All their products are completely natural, organic, vegan,  preservative free, etc. It is a bit costly though, so you may want to grab a sample if you live near a store. In the past, I used herbalism as an exfoliator and dark angles as a cleanser, along with enzymion as a moisturizer. I just got fed up with spending so much money and began using Cetaphil and CeraVe.

I wish I could give you some more advice :( , I wish you the best of luck!

Try healing from inside
check for parasites(they eat all the nutrients)
here is very effective remedy:
1 teaspooon of whole black peppercorn with water and eat something right away(do at noon)
do for 5 days and check your stool
the'll come out if you have them
add buttermilk or kefir one cup a day

It's probiotics
very good for gut flora
it helps body system to function better
if your body system is mess up it will show on your face
food combination too plays a huge roll
worst combination is dairy and beef eaten at the same time
cause it doesn't digest properly if it's combine together
Buttermilk great too if you apply on face like a mask it helps with scars and skin tone

Maybe supplement doesn't suit you or maybe you are lactose intolerant? Or maybe you overdose?
i would use supplement only if I can't get from food
I would stick to natural source like buttermilk or kefir

Thank you for the advice! I take a probiotic everyday, but haven't checked out anything about parasites!

I used a CeraVe cleanser, dilluted apple cider vinegar as a toner, and a Cetaphil moisturizer.

I'm vegetarian & I don't consune tons of dairy, so that shouldn't be an issue! I try to eat healthy, but nothing ever seems to affect my face.

I think results do vary from person to person. I'm using a brand which claim to use natural/organic ingredients only and so far, I'm loving it. :)

I hope you can find the one which suits your skin!|::Siava:

Emolya- I did the same exact thing as you with my acne/rosacea and I'm having the same issue. Every time I think it's getting better, my skin takes 6 steps backwards! :( I thought cutting out everything would improve but it just hasn't and I'm out of options too. I caved today and cleaned my face with benzoyl peroxide wipes because I've been feeling so down about myself for half a year and it's definitely taking a toll on me.

I agree with AhaGuru about parasites. I've been parasite cleansing but I think it takes a unique formula for each person. And patience over time. Look into Dr. Christopher's Lower Bowel Formula. Organic Olivia's website has lots of great info... and diatomaceous earth is a safe way to cleanse as well. I hope you find a remedy soon. I totally understand. Sending light and wellness to you!

I had to create an account just to respond to you. I know exactly what you may be going through- in terms of how you feel. Just remember you are beautiful no matter what! I had the most clean, clear skin all through my teenage years then in my 20s bam! Adult acne, the worst kind! Boils, blackheads on my face, down my chest and my back. I am in my early 40s and still get an occasional pimple. I found what worked best for me - I stopped wearing makeup - I let my skin breath and this was my first step!! I can't live without my rose salt soap made by "one with nature", you can get it at Whole Foods or Sprouts or order online. I've tried all their soaps but the Rose one is best! It like shrunk up my pores and they look very clean which leads to less clogged pores! I also use a fresh clean washcloth on my face every day for a gentle exfoliation. What I discovered in my case was the tiny hairs on my face were causing my breakouts mostly. I also got a few facials in Israel which was determined I had a bacteria infection on my face! so was prescribed azaelic acid cream. Skinoren is great but I'm not sure if you can order it online or get it somehow in Europe! Now I use Noni of Beverly Hills AHA lotion and toner but it's expensive! So I suggest Thayers alcohol free rose witchazel for toner. I do wear sunscreen everyday! Kiss my face makes a great one And a tinted sunscreen! I also like Aveeno tinted sunscreen/makeup too. I also agree you could use a bit of detox inside- take vitamin C and E, start juicing with carrots and apples and ginger, drink tea. I have total faith in you!! Best wishes ~ Hannah

Also if you need a good moisturizer go with good old natural aloe Vera!! Either get a large leaf at the grocery store and store it in the fridge or get a gel, just be sure it's all natural. It's very soothing and will help with scars too. Enjoy!
