I have completed the caveman regimen ( 1 year now ) and my skin is better than ever. Your skin will get used to the sweat and dirt, don't worry about it. The key thing to remember is persistence. The first week or two gets bad as I got pretty bad breakouts, onto week 3 or 4 It calmed down. After that, my skin wasn't dry or oily, and my face was completely clear. I now after 2 months let cold water wash it down, but no products on my face. Just water. My face feels so good and I never get breakouts. I recommend this a lot. Good luck.

@INeedhelp1312

On days that I get caked in dust or sweat should I just use cold water in the sink? And then just leave it?

im just worried that days where I'm ripping out bathrooms and get caked in layers of dust that it will clog my pores?

and also if got really hard to get dirt on my face how should I approach this?

The point of the caveman regimen is to not let anything touch your face, I would say you can use cold water a few months after your skin has adjusted to the regimen. It is normal to build up a layer of bacteria on your skin, which you should be able to remove with your hands. There is a purging period in the beginning stages, but that's where a lot of people quit and ruin the regimen. You have to stick through it. If you get dirt on your face, gently use a scrub and cold water. But just be cautious to not get it on your face so you won't have to mess up the regimen.
