so i am really interested to try this but i have no idea which kind i should get. is there a specific brand that is the best? thinking of the nubian heritage but some say that is not the real deal.. having not so much an acne issue as a clogged pore issue (at the moment, knock on wood). would this help with that? or any other suggestions for clogged pores would be much appreciated, though i have tried damn near next to everything.
I tried a scrub, brand was Shea Moisture (I still have it in my bathroom). It was not really successful for me, unfortunately. I heard some great things about it and it wasn't really expensive, no more than my normal face wash (I think it was like $9) so I gave it a try. I've tried nearly everything as well, and at that point thought it couldn't possibly make it worse. I'm not really sure if it made it worse or if it just didn't have an effect, to be honest. For the first few days it seemed really nice, but my face was oily and while I can't be sure if it caused breakouts (I was really stressed at the time so my new acne could have been attributed to that), it definitely didn't get rid of any.
I could have just used some really cheap crap though, so maybe the "real deal" as you say would have been better. Good luck!
