I am 18 and I've had these bumps on my eyelids for quite some time. I am thinking they are milia, but I read that milia should go away after a few months. However, I've had the bump on my top eyelid for over 2 years and the bottom one for about 1 year. I've tried poking at them before but they are so painful and the location is too diffucult.
I went to the eye doctor a year ago to get my clogged tearduct flushed and he didn't mention anything about the bumps.
I had trouble getting a good quality photo, they are more noticeable in person.

Hi there. I had something very similar as a teenager.

I had several white spots on my upper eye lid and in the area sort of above my eyelids but under my eyebrows. They accumulated throughout my teens years and never went away. I had them for years. One was so big I assumed it was a wart. I thought that there was no way of getting rid of them until one day, for some reason, I started to pick at them. They turned into big ugly scabs and when the scabs came off, I discovered hard white balls almost like seeds that either came off with the scab or were still stuck in my skin but were now exposed. I gently extracted them and over the course of several months, I did the same to all of the others.

First of all, I just want to say I absolutely DO NOT recommend doing what I did. I was lucky not to get permanent scars but the good news is you can get them safely extracted by a professional. None of mine have come back and my eye area is now spot-free so in the long run, I'm pleased I extracted them but I just wish I'd had a professional do it. hth
