Will doxycycline be as effective if take straight after dinner?
My dinner usually is rice, chicken/fish , some veg. Is it too much? And i take doxy like literally STRAIGHT after my dinner. Is it too much food? As i researched that it will cause it's effectiveness? If it does, can i change my timing of taking doxy?
It will likely reduce absorption of the drug, especially if taken with a meal high in calcium (so, milk, cheese, ice cream, yogurt, etc as well as a bunch of other foods). It would probably be best to take it with a light low-calcium snack to maximize absorption and minimize potential side effects. And yes, you can change the timing.
