Hello!
Have you guys tried apple cider vinegar? I was too lazy to go out and buy the ACV with "the mother" in it, so I just used this pasteurized version from my local grocery and it seems to be working. I've used it for about 2 weeks both applying and ingesting it, and I've seen great results. It is around my time of the month, so my face is flaring up again, but really my skin has gotten better overall. The size and the duration of each pimple has gone down significantly, but my skin has become REALLY red. I mix 1 TSP of ACV with 3 TSP of water and apply it in the night. I also drink 2 TSP of ACV with 4 TSP of water. My skin looks SO much better from a distance, but close up it looks much worse. Have you guys got any tips or suggestions? Thinking about going out and buying Bragg's and if that doesn't work, maybe I'll try lemon juice. I just honestly don't want to spend too much on expensive treatments like Accutane.
Also, do you think that my switching from product to product could be causing breakouts?
Thanks for all your help!

You really shouldn't use ACV on your skin and especially not lemon juice. It is becoming a trend to use these things on your face and when I did it really irritated my skin. I asked my dermatologist about it and she said that these things over time can really damage your skin's acid mantle and make your skin worse. I know acne treatments can be ridiculously priced but if you feel like your acne is pretty bad you should really see a dermatologist. I tried for months to find different remedies to help my skin and it only got worse and worse until I finally went to a dermatologist and got prescribed something called tretinoin cream. It made my skin really irritated and the acne got really really bad the first 2 months or so but after the purging and peeling phase has stopped my skin is looking so much better.
Try it along with potato and lavender oil . All three in combo act really quick
