I researched about the best CeraVe face wash for the past few days because I need one that suits my skin type and works well for daily use. I read reviews on the New York Times, Consumer Reports, and Allure, and they are marking these two as the best:
Clinique 3-Step All About Clean Liquid Gentle Facial Cleanser
https://www.amazon.com/CLINIQUE-Clinique-Liquid-Facial-Limited/dp/B002RBTB8C
CeraVe AM Face Moisturizer with SPF
https://www.amazon.com/CeraVe-Moisturizer-Hydrating-Toiletries-Cleanser/dp/B09YDFND48
However, I am having trouble deciding which one would best suit my needs and need your expert advice. My skin is normal to combination I get oily around my T-zone but have dryness on my cheeks. I want something gentle that wont strip my skin or cause breakouts.
So which one should I buy? Any recommendation will be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
It really depends on how the cleanser fits into your skincare regime. If you are applying treatment afterwards then I suggest Johnson's baby wash as a gentle and very affordable cleanser. If you are looking to treat mild acne with a cleanser alone then I would suggest something else, perhaps with some salicylic acid.
I've always been quite disappointed with cerave products. Clinique is generally a good brand but expensive and not necessarily optimal for acne probe skin.
