Hi,

Does sweating cause acne, what are your take on this?

From my personal experience, I have noticed that during summertime I get more acne (or sweat pimples) on my forehead and temple due to heavy sweating. The pimples are very small and clustered and not the usual acne it feels like. I live in Finland, and we have a very dry and cold climate here 9 months of the year. During summer however, it gets really humid and warm and that's when these sweat pimples appear.

I workout a lot in the gym, and this is the place where I sweat a lot and it gets very humid. I think this is the reason for my small but many pimples on my forehead and temples.

Side note: Im also on The Regimen, which keeps me 90% clear during non-summer months, but during summer it cant combat the pimples caused by heavy sweating.

Thanks, i'd like to hear your thoughts on this and if you experience similiar, how do you prevent it?

Lots of tiny bumps often comes from over-washing or scrubbing. Are you being sure to stay ultra gentle?

Sweat really shouldn't cause acne, unless it's combined with irritation.

Using D E R M A L M D anti acne serum Amazing solution for active acne. Used it on a daily frequency & noticed huge reduction in breakouts and marks too. Would definitely recommend
