Hi all,
I'm currently in my 3rd month of Oratane and I started to realize that my bites take longer to heal and I will have those small red bumps growing on my legs.
For more context, I have sand-fly bites on my legs just 1 month before I was on Oratane and I tend to scratch any bites (I know I shouldn't) but my bites typically heal pretty fast unless I scratched it way too badly, pigmentation will form. However, ever since I started Oratane, I realized the bites don't seem to subside (which is coming 4th month now that I have the bites). I also realized after my dosage was increased from 20mg to 30mg, small red bumps will appear out of nowhere (mostly on my legs). They would be itchy but if left untouched it doesn't really affect me and it will subside but there will still be a brown small dot mark.
Also, I started using Cetaphil baby daily lotion all over my body just about a month ago due to the dryness caused by Oratane and I also use suu balm itch relief moisurizer as like a spot treatment on those bite marks to relief the itch so I'm not sure if these play a part as well. Also, I live in a tropical country where it's pretty much always 30 degrees and above so I sweat very often.
I did google on side effects of Oratane and some possibilities could be rashes but I'm not very sure either as mine seem to be in dots rather than patches.
Is this normal? Should I check in with my doctor?
Does Orantane slow down healing process in general?
Thanks in advance!
