The bumps and acne are most likely caused by fungus, either malasezzia or candida fungus.
Fungal skin conditions, including fungal acne, are caused by taking antibiotics and some other meds. Fungal acne can also be caused by hormonal issues just as ordinary acne can be.
Doctors know nothing about fungal skin conditions.
You can control the "acne" and the bumps by doing the following -
1. Buy clotrimazole topical antifungal cream (often sold as Canesten) and apply it to the areas with "acne" 2-3 times a day. If you can get it without prescription, also buy some terbenafine antifungal cream (often sold as Lamisil) and apply that together with the clotrimazole cream to the areas with bumps and acne. Topical antifungal creams are TOTALLY safe.
2. Wash your hair in an antidandruff shampoo.
3. Do NOT apply any moisturisers or organic oils to the areas with acne unless your skin becomes very dry. Moisturisers and organic oils feed the skin fungus which causes bumps and acne, and all fungus loves moisture.
If you get back to me with answers to the questions below, I can provide targeted information, if needed, to control your "acne" and bumps.
Have you taken antibiotics or other meds. ? If so which ones ?
Do you have one or more of the following (as well as the acne/bumps) - white coating on your tongue, dandruff, flaking skin, toenail fungus, itchy and/or painful skin, red rash/es, unexplained tiredness, headaches, "brain fog", stomach or gut problems, sinus problems.
I look forward to hearing back from you.
