I get these clusters of white pus-filled bumps once a while, and I have no idea what to put on it to make it disappear.

Anybody out there who can help identify what this might be?

Probably candida or malassezia (both fungi), possibly with a secondary staph infection. Is the skin hot around the bumps ? If so, then there is staph infection (which is dangerous, need to treat with antibiotics which may exacerbate the fungal infection, but staph is really dangerous, as you probably know).

Candida and malassezia in otherwise healthy people are usually caused by oral or systemic (drip) antibiotics (destroying gut bacteria). See my post on the tiny white plugs string for how to treat candida and malassezia with topical anti-fungal cream (and some ways of working out which of these one has).
