How long have you been with each other for? I've had acne forever and my current partner (and previous) never had any issue with my skin or made comments on it. In fact, they were more gentle with my face and whether their hands were clean etc. If a skin condition makes him want to run away he ain't the one sis.

Before clearing up my cystic acne, I was with my husband for 6 years (still with him..but my skin is good now). He never made me feel awkward, embarrassed, etc. I, of course, would always cover it up with concealer and foundation as best I could, but he said I didn't need it and I was beautiful without.

The right relationship/person will see right past any skin issues (and to be fair, we see ourselves a lot worse than anyone else!). Don't be with anyone who makes you feel bad or uncomfortable about it. It's something that can't always be helped.
