started getting pimples on my lip line a few years ago but now the redness and inflammation will not go away and tiny, deep pimples won™t come to a head. It™s impossible to see in the picture but if you look very closely in person you can see what looks like tiny clogged pores but idk if it™s clogged pores or something else. It™s been like this for the 4 months with no signs of going away. My gluten free, I use SLS FREE toothpaste. I think maybe it happened because I was vaping? I stopped vaping once I realized that could be a factor but i don™t think it™s reallt helped or maybe the damage is irreversible idk. My dermatologist says it™s perioral dermatitis but I doubt it since I™ve been dealing with this since January (it is April 21st), taking sulfamethoxazole (Bactrim) at one point, taking minocycline, neither of them worked. I didn™t use steroid creams. I™ve used elidel for about a month and it hasn™t helped. Both the left and ride side of lip line are inflamed. I don™t know why. Idk if it™s clogged pores or rosacea or perioral dermatitis. I hate going out in public and it™s ruining my life. Please help. There™s probbaly stuff I forgot to cover. Take my word when I say I™ve tried pretty much everything. I™m using elidel and adapelene gel rn. Would an EXTRACTION say a dermatologist help this or just make it worse??

when did you last take bactrim or minocycline? have you checked those medicines, side effects?

those lumps sound like acne cysts? im not a doctor but to me, it sounds more like a reaction to something? I am imagine the swelling will go down once you work out what it is.
