How can I improve this regimen?

I'm a single 42 year old male who has had acne since age 20. In my 20s and 30s I did 2 rounds of Accutane which did nothing. The longest acne ever disappeared was 2004-2007 after I went on Bactrim.

These daysI feel like I am taking extra good care of myself and my skin and yet still feel miserable and isolated due to my situation. It has affected my confidence and ability to go on dates.

Here is my regimen for the past month:

Morning
Meditation
Shower (avoiding hard water contact with face)
Cleanse face with distilled water and sulfa topical
Allow face to dry with no touching or towels
Take doxycycline 40mg + probiotic
Eat granola and banana

Afternoon
Eat lunch, salmon and salad, green vegetables

Evening
Yoga and meditation
No alcohol
Zinc 50mg
Green tea
Sulfa wash
Soolantra
Change pillowcase nightly

Every 3 days
Azetc claymud mask
-

This is by far the most time-consuming regimen I've ever attempted and I'm still getting cysts at age 42.

Since starting yoga and meditation in August, I feel overall better. I would think it would have an affect on my skin, but not so far.

I am desperate to know what I'm overlooking or whether any of this is even under my control.

I think you are overdoing it. You might be destroying your natural skin flora.

Try this.

Mild Cleanser (Cerave or Cetaphil) am and pm
Healthy Diet
Doxy 40 mg or Zinc aloneeee.. disregard all unneeded supplements

remove the aztec mud mask and sulfa wash, its way too harsh. and soolantra

Note that doxy 40mg is too weak. and there are some studies if i remember correct that zinc and doxy can inhibit each other. so it makes it much weaker.

Im not a fan of antibiotics for acne tbh.

Diet plays a role too. You have a good diet. you can switch morning and lunch.

Try this for a month!
